The practical stuff

Planning a holiday involves a few practical questions so we’ve gathered the useful details here to make everything clear and straightforward. From what’s included in your gîte and how the shared facilities work, to payment terms, minimum stays and what to expect during your visit, you’ll find the essentials FAQs below.

As these spaces are shared between all guests on the estate, please tidy them up after use. Thank you

The large pool is 13m x 6m. It is an outdoor pool and is not heated, so it is only open during the warm summer months.
Sun loungers, parasols and inflatables are available.
It is fully enclosed and gated for security.
Children must always be supervised by an adult.
Dogs are not allowed.

Bicycles are available to explore the surrounding countryside. Please note that these bikes are for leisurely rides only.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, subject to our house rules. Please note that our estate is not fully enclosed and that we have a dog on the property.

Need to combine business with pleasure? The gites Rémy Martin and Hennessy both have dedicated desks, making them suitable for working remotely or enjoying a longer working holiday.

High speed WiFi and Smart TVs are available in all the gites.

Check-in: from 4pm
Check-out: before 10am

The taxe de séjour is collected by us on behalf of Grand Cognac. It is €1.20 /adult /night. Children under 18 do not pay.

On your departure day, please leave your gîte clean and tidy, ‘as you found it’. This includes stripping the beds, tidying the kitchen, emptying the bins, vacuuming and moping throughout.

If you prefer, we can do the cleaning for you for an additional fee: €50 for Otard ; €50 for Martell ; €80 for Hennessy ; €100 for Rémy Martin. In that case, please strip the beds and tidy the kitchen. We’ll do the rest.

You can park your car within the estate.
The gites Otard, Martell and Hennessy have 1 car parking space each.
The gite Rémy Martin has up to 3 car parking spaces.

You’re welcome to enjoy meals, drinks and celebrations together, but please be considerate of other guests and our neighbours in the village. Outdoor socialising and music should finish by midnight, with noise kept to a minimum afterwards. We don’t allow loud parties or rave-style events that could disturb others. Good times are very welcome — just not at the expense of everyone else’s sleep! 😊

A 25% deposit confirms your booking
The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.

Payment via bank transfers.

The 25% deposit is non-refundable. Our full cancellation conditions are explained in our T&Cs.

Septembre-June : 3 nights
July-August : 7 nights

Our gite Otard (1 bedroom) is on 1 level with no stairs.
Our gite Martell (2 bedrooms) is on 1 level with 1 step to go in.
